On the merits of Friday and Posted by how to learn Quran
How to learnQuran wants to teach the People. Abu
Hurayrah ( radiyallahu anhu ) narrates that the Messenger of Allah ( sallallahu
alayhi ve sellam ) said:
“He who on
Friday performs the same full ablution (gusul) that is performed after the
desecration (janaba), and then (early) goes to prayer to the mosque will
receive the same reward as the one who sacrificed the camel. He who departed at
the second hour is like one who sacrificed a cow; he who departed at the third
hour - as one who sacrificed a horned ram; one who departs at the fourth hour
is like one who sacrificed a chicken, and one who leaves at the fifth hour is
like one who sacrificed an egg. When the imam comes out, angels will appear to
listen to the sermon (khutba) "...
(Bukhari, Jum'a, 4; Muslim, Jum'a, 10. Separately see Abu Dawud, Taharat,
127/351; Tirmidhi, Jum'a, 6/499; Nasai, Jum'a, 14/1386).
Friday
namaz ( jum'a ), among other precepts of Islam, shows us how important unity is
in our religion. Actually, the very word jum'a - Friday namaz - comes from the
Arabic root jam ', which means “to collect, embrace, unite”. Friday ( jum'a )
in Islam is considered a festive day, regarding the merits of which there are
many hadiths. The virtues of Friday are due to the fact that it is on this day
that the Friday prayer ( jum'a ) is performed , which is the most important of
the worship ( ibadet ) and brings together all Muslims; on this day there is an
hour at which prayers are accepted ( du'a ); many important events in history
happened on this day
Islam. Also, Allah Almighty is pleased if His
servants worship, gathered together. Therefore, He made the worship that should
be performed in a group, such as collective, Friday and holiday prayers,
pilgrimage ( hajj ), many times superior to worship that is performed alone.
In the sacred verse it is said about Friday
prayer:
“O you who
have believed! When you are called to the congregational prayer on Friday, show
zeal in the remembrance of Allah, leaving your business affairs. It is better
for you if only you understand ” (al-Jum'a,
62/9).
The orders of the Almighty, who is immensely
merciful to His slaves, contain only good for His slaves. And one of these
commands is to run to Friday prayer after hearing ezan. Because it helps to
find eternal happiness.
If a person, before Friday prayer, makes some
preparations for it and comes to the mosque as early as possible, then his
reward ( sevap ) will increase even more. The expressions "at the second
hour, at the third hour", which are used to explain this in the hadith, do
not mean an ordinary hour, but small periods of time that separate the arrival
of different groups of people in the mosque before the imam appears in the
minbar. Thus, by encouraging people to one of the most important worship (
ibadet ), accuracy is also ensured.
Preparing for Friday prayer, you first need
to complete ablution ( gusul ). The Messenger of Allah ( sallallahu alayhi ve
sellam ) said:
“Whoever performs (little) ablution on Friday
will do a wonderful deed; whoever takes complete ablution is superior to (the
first). " (Abu Daud, Taharat, 128/354; Tirmidhi, Jum'a 5/497). In order
not to hurt the feelings of believers, even before Friday prayer, you should
brush your teeth, put your nails, hair and beard in order, then put on clean
clothes and use incense. (Bukhari, Jum'a, 6, 9; Abu Daud, Taharat, 128/353).
Mosques should also be cleaned up, filled
with incense, if possible, suras al-Sajda and al-Insan should be read in the
morning prayer, in the Friday prayer, sura al-Jumu'a and al-Munafikun or al-A'la
and al-Gashiya, during the day - Sura al-Kahf, perform a lot of du'a, recite
remembrance (dhikr) and blessings ( selyatu ve selyam ) to the Messenger of
Allah. Our Prophet ( sallallahu alayhi ve sellam ) said:
"Friday
is the best day of your days ... Therefore, on this day offer me many blessings
(settleu ve selam), for your blessings will be delivered to me." (Abu
Dawood, Salat, 201/1047).
A Muslim preparing for Friday prayer should,
if possible, not go to the mosque by transport, but come on foot. Because it
befits more humility and reverence. On the way to the mosque and upon arrival
there, a person should not cause inconvenience to people, causing disturbance
to others, try to get into the first row. If a sermon is preached or the Qur'an
is recited before the start of prayer, he must listen in silence, if not, then
engage in such additional ( nafile ) worship as remembrance ( dhikr ) and
meditation ( tafakkur) . During the sermon ( khutba ), one should, leaving all
business, listen attentively in silence to the imam. If wants to learn then click
